"Amazing Legacies for An Inclusive Curriculum"
In commemoration of the Illinois LGBTQ-Inclusive Curriculum Law going into effect on July 1, 2020, we have created two videos to introduce the new education program. PART ONE is a video composite of several diverse and historically significant LGBTQ figures. This video takes you on a journey back to the Legacy Project’s creation through some amazing eras in history right up to this moment in time… the unqualified realization of a dream we had so long ago to give LGBTQ youth the knowledge that people like them matter – and have always mattered. Because our kids need role models, too.
