This spring, the Inclusive Curriculum Bill was introduced into the state legislature. Under this bill, public school students would learn about the historical contributions of LGBT individuals. Currently, the majority of students are not taught how LGBT people have impacted history, and I have known the consequences. (Mentions the Legacy Project)
