Chicago, IL - The Board of Directors of the Legacy Project announces the plans for the upcoming dedication of the Legacy Walk to take place on Oct. 11, 2012. This unique multi-faceted celebration will be a community first. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, 2 p.m. — 7 p.m. $100 general admission. $200 VIP admission.
The Legacy Walk — to be located on one-half-mile of North Halsted Street in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood — will be an outdoor "museum walk" recognizing the contributions gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people have made to world history and culture.
