His considerable organizational development and communication skills have brought great clarity to the Legacy Project’s fiduciary work.

CHRISTIE "KIT" WELCH | Real Estate Broker, Baird & Warner: As a real estate professional Kit's skillset is a welcome addition to our board as we prepare to establish a permanent physical space for the Legacy Project. DR. GABRIEL GOMEZ, Co-Director Legacy Project Education Initiative | Professor, Chicago State University: Gabriel's fascinating background – from founding member of ACT-Up/Chicago and Queer Nation during the 1990s – the most turbulent era in LGBT history – to full professor today – has sharpened his awareness of history and its importance for our young people.  Gabriel will be indispensible helping to create the Legacy Project Education Inititative, which will bring LGBT History into the lives of LGBT youth.

PAUL HIGHFIELD | Senior Manager, Levi-Strauss Store Development: Having directly or indirectly sponsored 25% of the Legacy Walk's plaques, Paul’s knowledge of corporate- and community-based fundraising, as well as his contacts among influential individuals in the entertainment industry, make him a vital resource to the Legacy Project’s fundraising goals.

JOSHUA OAKS | Digital Policy Manager, AIDS Foundation of Chicago: Joshua's background in media management and event planning will be indispensible for the Legacy Project's planned efforts to replace our website, build a more robust social media presence, and expand the number, type, and scale of our special events and fundraisers.
